ELECTIONS 2012- LET THE PEACE RAIN

Anticipation! Campaign and tension is all over! Well, not quite strange, its election year. The four years presidential and parliamentary election is due in Ghana. The hearts of the approved candidates are wrapped with tension and fear as to which of them will win the impending election come December, 7th.
As a result, their schemes are taking dramatic change in lines. Both fair and foul means are being employed. Just to satisfy their insatiable quest for power, to lead who?  Obviously, you and me. Therefore it makes no reason to die before they (politicians) are elevated to the level of leadership they aim for. You and I must endeavour to stay alive so that we can as much contribute meaningfully to the development agenda of our dear nation, Ghana.
Do not allow your conscience to be priced out by the politicians. Always remember the past, present and the future of our blessed nation before you take an action. Let tolerance and open-mindedness be your hallmark so as to eschew all forms of attitudes that could cause unwarranted misunderstandings which may eventually lead the nation to unwanted eventualities.
Girls Making Media Ghana in earnest cries for peaceful election come December 7th. The life of everyone in Ghana is of great importance to us, especially women and children because they are the pillar that holds the nations life and must not be destroyed.
Remember that Ghana is the beacon of democracy so let’s not do anything to deprive Ghana of that pride. Let’s hold in high esteem the heritage won for us through the blood and toil of our forefathers. Do not destroy what they suffered to build within the break of day.
Again, take to mind the vulnerable, women and children. This is a heart filled plea to my dear nation, Ghana.
Above all, remember that we are one people, one nation with but a common destiny. In unity we stand, divided we fall.
Shalom, peace
